A local woman is recovering from injuries in an ATV accident. Just before Noon on Tuesday – Darke County Deputies along with Bradford Fire and rescue responded to 9811 Grandview Dr in Bradford on an ATV accident with injuries. According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office – the preliminary investigation revealed a 2025 Honda Pioneer 700 side-by-side operated by 73-year-old Thomas Sargent of Bradford was backing up and struck his wife, 72-year-old Teresa Sargent who was kneeling behind the side-by-side. Teresa was extracted from underneath the side-by-side and transported by EMS to Upper Valley Hospital for her injuries.
This accident remains under the investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s office.
