Versiti Blood Center April Blood Drives: Anyone who registers to give blood in April will receive a Hip Hop Don’t Stop Saving Lives t-shirt.

Greenville VFW Fish Fry: Friday April 17 at the hall from 5:00-7:00pm or sold out.

 Greenville Masonic Lodge Open House & Community Food Drive: Saturday April 18 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the lodge at 200 Memorial Drive.

 The Friends of the Darke County Parks Chicken Dinner: Saturday April 18 with pick up at the Bish Discovery Center from 4:00-6:00pm. Tickets are $11 and available at the Shawnee Prairie Nature Center.

Darke County Annual Wine Festival: Saturday April 18 at the Darke County Fairgrounds from 12:00-6:30pm. There will be wines from local wineries, food trucks, local vendors, live music, raffles and more. Tickets available from Darke County Humane Society.

Ansonia Local Support Personnel Annual Chicken BBQ: Sunday April 19 from 11:00-1:00pm or sold out. Tickets just $10 by calling or texting  (937)459-9125.

Darke County Senior Center April Events: Tuesday April 21- Chair Yoga 10:30-11:15am, Game Day 1:00-3:00pm. Wednesday April 22- Line Dancing 1:00-3:00pm. Thursday April 23- Lunch & Learn 1:00-2:00pm. All events at the Birchwood Senior Center, 5844 Jaysville- St Johns Rd, Greenville.

 Darke County Shrine Club Aluminum Can Drive: Saturday April 25 in the Old Marsh Store Parking Lot on Martin Street in Greenville from 10:00am-2:00pm. More information call 937-621-9320.

 Darke County Bike Blessing: Saturday April 25 in the Greenville VFW Parking Lot from 10:00am-2:00pm. Just $10 per bike. There will also be raffles, silent auction, 50/50 and food by Badges BBQ.

 Greenville FFA Car/Truck/Tractor/Motorcycle Show: Sunday April 26 at the Greenville High School from 1:00-5:00pm. Activities include vehicle show, food truck rally, greenhouse and more.

 Spirits of Harmony in Concert: Sunday April 26 at Triumphant Christian Center, 1129 South Towne Court, Greenville at 6:00pm. Everyone is welcome.

 Darke County Retired Teachers Meeting: Wednesday May 13 at Brethren Retirement Community Chestnut Village Clubhouse at 6:00pm. Full course meal will be served. Cost of meal is $16. RSVP to 937-423-0274 by April 27.

Appliance Recycling Month: During the month of April you can recycle your appliances for free by taking them to 1 Shot Services on Hahn Rd in Gettysburg. For a full list of items taken go to co.darke.oh.us/solidwaste or call 937-547-0527.

Palestine Flea Market: Every Thursday starting May 7 through September from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Palestine Ballpark. No setup fees. More information cal Dave at 937-564-1145.

Save Your Caps and Lids For Benches: Darke County Solid Waste District is collecting caps and lids to make benches for several locations in Darke County including the Greenville City Park. Drop off locations include right here at WTGR, Solid Waste Office, most Darke County village offices and libraries.
