Versiti Blood Center August Blood Drives: Anyone who registers to give blood in August will receive a water bottle in August.

Darke County Senior Center August Events: Tuesday August 18- Chair Yoga 10:00-11:00am, Game Day 1:00-3:00pm. Wednesday August 19- Line Dancing 1:00-3:00pm. All events at the Birchwood Senior Center, 5844 Jaysville- St Johns Rd, Greenville.

Darke County Park Board Special Meeting: Wednesday August 19 at Shawnee Prairie Nature Center at 9:00am. Meeting purpose is to discuss pontential donation of land.

Darke County Park Board Regular Meeting: Thursday August 20 at Shawnee Prairie Nature Center, 4267 St Rt 502 west of Greenville at 4:00pm.

Palestine Flea Market: Every Thursday now through September from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Palestine Ballpark. No setup fees. More information call Dave at 937-564-1145.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Shelby and Darke County Fishing Derby: POSTPONED to SATURDAY AUGUST 22–  Saturday August 15 at 2965 Cardo Rd in Fort Loramie with registration from 9:00-10:00am, fishing begins at 10:15am and lunch is at Noon. Poles and bait is provided, bring lawn chairs, prizes for all ages, lunch provided.

Darke County Band Spectacular: Monday August 24 starting at 7:00pm at the Greenville High School Alumni Stadium.

Osgood Community Fire Company & Area Life Squad Annual Meeting: Monday August 24 at 8:00pm at fire & squad building. Everyone that resides in the Osgood service area is invited to attend.

Save Your Caps and Lids For Benches: Darke County Solid Waste District is collecting caps and lids to make benches for several locations in Darke County including the Greenville City Park. Drop off locations include right here at WTGR, Solid Waste Office, most Darke County village offices and libraries.
