Versiti Blood Center July Blood Drives: Anyone who registers to give blood in July will receive a water bottle in July.

Darke County Center for the Arts BBQ & BLUES: Friday July 10 on the Greenville Public Library Lawn with gates opening at 5:30, music by Blackjack Davey starts at 6:00pm. There will be food trucks, craft beer & wine. Tickets for adults are $10 presale or $15 at the door.

Darke DD Summer Bash: Saturday July 11 in the Greenville City Park with food trucks from 11:00am-7:00pm, Touch a Truck from 1:00-4:00pm and concert at the Band Shell from 2:00-4:00pm.

Greenville VFW Darke County Public Dance: Saturday July 11 at the VFW Hall with the doors opening at 6:00pm, dance is 8:00-11:00pm. Must be 21- cover charge is $9. Band will be Back Stage Pass.

New Weston BBQ Chicken Dinner: Sunday July 12 from 10:30am until sold out at 404 Main Street in New Weston. Look for the Rooster.

Free Theatre Camp: Monday July 13 through Saturday July 18 at St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville. For students entering grades 1-12. Registration begins at 9:30am on Monday, auditions take place from 10:00am-12:00pm. Cast will be announced at Noon.

Stelvideo Christian Church Vacation Bible School: Monday thru Friday, July 13-17 from 6:30-8:30pm at the church located near the intersection of Horatio-Harris Creek & Arcanum-Bears Mill Rd. More info call 937-423-1848.

Greenville Knights of Columbus BBQ Chicken Dinners: Sunday July 19 from 11:30am-1:00pm at the hall located on Childrens Home Bradford Rd just north of Greenville. Carry out only for just $10. Orders must be in by Tuesday July 14 by calling 937-569-8030.

Union City Community Help Center Food Giveaway: Friday July 17 at the center, 180 West Deerfield Rd from 10:00-11:00am. Drive thru only. For Union City residents only, please bring ID.

Greenville Masonic Lodge Community Food Drive: Saturday July 18 at the lodge located at 200 Memorial Drive from 10:00am-2:00pm. All donations will be delivered to the FISH Food Pantry in Greenville.

Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church Annual Ice Cream Social: Saturday July 18 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Beach in Wayne Lakes, 1180 Main Drive. Proceeds go to Tri-Village Rescue. Everyone is welcome.

CPR, AED and First Aid Training: Saturday August 1 at 9:00am at the Greenville Area Dog Club, 803 Martin Street in Greenville. Register by July 18 by calling 937-680-9225. Cost is $35. Thanks to Greenville Twp Rescue and Greenville Area Dog Club.

Angel Run 5K: Sunday July 26 at the Fireman’s & American Legion Picnic in North Star at 9:00am. Race day registration begins at 7:30am, fun run at 8:45am. Online registration at angelrun5K.com.

Save Your Caps and Lids For Benches: Darke County Solid Waste District is collecting caps and lids to make benches for several locations in Darke County including the Greenville City Park. Drop off locations include right here at WTGR, Solid Waste Office, most Darke County village offices and libraries.
