Two Randolph County men are facing drug related charges – after being arrested near Arcanum over the weekend. Around 12:40 am Saturday, a traffic stop was conducted by a Darke County Sheriff’s Deputy on Grubbs Rex Road near Gordon Landis Road, South of Arcanum, OH. Throughout the course of the traffic stop, bulk amounts of suspected fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine were located and seized. The driver, 34-year-old Ethan Green of Parker City, Indiana, and his passenger, 33-year-old Travis Ford of Farmland, Indiana, were arrested for the following offenses:
Green–
1. Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a 2 nd degree felony
2. Tampering with Evidence, a 3 rd degree felony
3. Driving under Suspension, a 1 st degree misdemeanor
Ford—1. Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a 2nd degree felony
2. Tampering with Evidence, a 3 rd degree felony
Further charges may be added pending review from the Darke County Prosecutor’s Office. Both Green and Ford remain in custody at the Darke County Jail pending their arraignments.
