Two people were transported to area hospitals after a crash in Darke County Saturday morning. Around 10:40 a.m. Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire and Rescue and Bradford Rescue responded to the intersection of Horatio Harris Creek Road and Auld Road for a two-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a red Pontiac G6 driven by 18-year-old Willow Nicole of Troy, was traveling northbound on Auld Road and failed to stop at the intersection of Horatio Harris Creek Road and was struck by an eastbound white Chevy Silverado truck, driven by 19-year-old Jesse Mohler of Bradford. The driver of the Pontiac was flown to Miami Valley Hospital aboard MedFlight, and her front seat passenger 20-year-old Elizabeth Shofner of Piqua, was transported to Wayne HealthCare for minor injuries. The driver of the Silverado was treated and released at the scene.
