A man accused of firing shots at a Greenville home, has been arrested in Kentucky. Around 12:20pm Saturday – deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Willis Road in Greenville – on the report of shots being fired at and into a residence. This was part of a domestic dispute at the home. The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Dante Genovesi of Arcanum. Dante left the area prior to deputies arriving on the scene. A “be on the lookout” was issued for the suspect and sent to numerous agencies who assisted in the search for the suspect. The suspect was apprehended by Georgetown, Kentucky Police without incident. Dante is charged with Felonious Assault and is waiting extradition to the Darke County Jail. No one was injured as a result of the shots that were fired.
This incident is still being actively investigated by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
