Rock the Hill to Bring Music, Food, and America 250 Celebration to West Milton
As communities across the nation commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, West Milton is preparing to celebrate in a way that reflects the heart of small-town America with live music, family fun, and community coming together.
On Saturday, August 15 at 5:00 pm, Rock the Hill returns as one of the community’s signature summer events. This year’s lineup features country music headliner Chad Cremeans, whose high-energy performances have earned him fans throughout the region, along with hometown favorite KickStand, bringing familiar favorites and crowd-pleasing hits to the stage.
Beyond the stage, Rock the Hill offers something for every age. A variety of food trucks will serve up local favorites, while the Beer & Wine Garden provides a place for adults to relax and enjoy the festivities. Families will find plenty to do in the Kids Zone, making the event an opportunity for multiple generations to spend time together.
Guests can also take part in a raffle and 50/50 drawing, offering even more opportunities to join in the fun while supporting a great cause. Rock the Hill is Project Revival of West Milton’s largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds helping the nonprofit continue its mission of strengthening the community through downtown revitalization and hosting several free events throughout the year. Community favorites such as the Christmas Tree Lighting, Stories on the Stillwater, and other family-friendly celebrations are made possible through the generous support of sponsors, volunteers, and events like Rock the Hill.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, settle in for the evening, and enjoy one of West Milton’s favorite traditions. Best of all, admission is free. To help support the local food vendors and beverage garden that make the event possible, organizers kindly ask that guests leave outside coolers at home. With plenty of delicious food and refreshing beverages available for purchase, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Rock the Hill is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of community. As part of the nationwide America 250 initiative, the event highlights the values that continue to define communities like West Milton: neighbor helping neighbor, families making memories together, and the simple joy of gathering to celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re headed.
