| Daily closures planned on State Road 1 in Randolph CountyRANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that daily closures are planned on State Road 1 for culvert replacements in Randolph County. Beginning on or after Monday, June 29, S.R. 1 will close between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the following locations and in the following order:Between State Road 28 and County Road 800 N.Between County Road 600 N. and County Road 500 N.Between County Road 900 W. and County Road 800 W.At the intersection of S.R. 1 and County Road 275 N.Between Windsor Road and County Road 100 S.Crews will only close one location at a time, starting on the north side of the county and working their way south. Work at all five locations is expected to take a total of two weeks, weather permitting. During each daily closure, drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change. |
