PIQUA – The Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-
vehicle fatal crash.

The crash occurred yesterday, September 16, at 4:03 a.m., on Horatio Harris Creek Road in Adams Township, Darke County.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2023 Dodge Challenger, operated by Tyler Etter,
23, Bradford, was traveling east on Horatio Harris Creek Road. The Dodge traveled off the
left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole before it overturned multiple times.

Etter succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

His passenger, Emma Henderson, 20, Versailles, was transported by ground ambulance to
Upper Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Piqua Post.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by Gettysburg Fire and EMS, Darke County Sheriff’s
Office and Darke County Coroner Office.
