One driver was injured in a rollover accident during the midday hours yesterday. Around 12:50pm Wednesday – Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Police, Arcanum Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and Pitsburg Fire responded to the 1700 Block of SR 49 on the report of a single vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2019 Chevrolet truck driven by 51-year-old Laura Stutz of Greenville was northbound on State Route 49 when she failed to maintain control of her vehicle leaving the road to the left striking a telephone pole then rolling onto its side coming to rest in the ditch on the North side of the road.
Stutz was transported to Wayne Healthcare with suspected minor injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
