Multiple people were injured in a three vehicle accident early Friday afternoon near Greenville.  According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office – just before 1:20PM Friday – Deputies along with Greenville Fire, Greenville Township Fire and Greenville Township Rescue were dispatched to US Route 127 and Children’s Home Bradford Road in reference to a three vehicle injury accident.

 Preliminary investigation revealed a 2016 Dodge Charger, driven by 21-year-old Brandon Pleiman of Yorkshire was stopped east bound at the posted stop sign on Children’s Home Bradford Road at US Route 127.  Pleiman attempted to cross US Route 127 when he struck a north bound 2012 Honda Odyssey, driven by 39-year-old Sarah Edwards of Versailles.  The Honda was forced into a 2011 Dodge Charger, driven by 48-year-old Jeremy Hodge of Greenville.  Hodge was stopped west bound on Children’s Home Bradford Road at the posted stop sign.

 Pleiman was treated and released from the scene.  Edwards, her ten and thirteen-year-old passengers were taken to Wayne HealthCare by Greenville Township Rescue with minor injuries.  Hodge and his fourteen-year-old passenger were treated and released from the scene.

 Pleiman was issued a citation for failure to yield after a clearly marked stop sign.
