| Wayne County, Ind. (June 19, 2026) – As progress continues on the Revive I-70 corridor, overnight restrictions will be needed Saturday and next week for pavement patching, to set bridge beams, and other work. Drivers can expect the following restrictions: Saturday, June 20 Rolling lane restrictions on I-70 in both directions from west of U.S. 35 to Ohio state line Monday, June 22Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane from Round Barn Road to SR 227 Exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to U.S. 35 closed Thursday, June 25Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane from Round Barn Road to Smyrna RoadEntrance ramp from S.R. 227 to eastbound I-70 closed Closures are scheduled between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. each weeknight and Saturday. Construction Speed Limit The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones. About Revive I-70Revive I-70 includes improvements to I-70 in Wayne County from west of Cambridge City to the Indiana/Ohio state line. The corridor is more than 20 miles long, and improvements are divided into three contracts for project delivery. The INDOT project is expected to reduce corridor congestion, improve traffic flow, and improve safety.
