On Wendesday, July 29th, Greenville Police Officers conducted a traffic stop near Ohio Street. During the traffic stop, 39-year-old Nicholas Daniels of Greenville, was confirmed to be a passenger in the vehicle. K-9 Kilo from our agency was deployed to perform an open-air sniff on the vehicle which resulted in a confirmed presence of narcotic odor. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle where approximately 23 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located. Daniels was arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail and incarcerated for possession of a controlled substance, a felony of the second degree.
