Greenville Masonic Lodge #143: Charity in Action, Light in Motion
Greenville Masonic Lodge #143 has once again demonstrated what happens when Brotherly Love meets community spirit — lives are lifted, neighbors are fed, and Light is shared.
On April 28, 2026, the Lodge held its much‑anticipated raffle drawing for a $900 Hunt Butcher Shop Gift Certificate sponsored by Jerry Hunt, along with a $200 Lowe’s Gift Card intended to purchase a freezer. The winning ticket belonged to Jeremy Edwards, a Brother Mason currently residing in Maine — quite a distance from Darke County.
But distance didn’t diminish his generosity.
Upon learning he had won, Jeremy immediately asked that his prize be donated to a worthy cause. When told about the ongoing needs at the Fish Food Pantry, he didn’t hesitate: “Please give it to them.”
And so, on April 30, 2026, Greenville Lodge proudly presented both the Gift Certificate and the Lowe’s Gift Card to the Fish Food Pantry on Jeremy’s behalf. His kindness — and the Lodge’s commitment to service — will help feed families right here in Darke County.

The Raffle was done to raise money for two $1,000 college scholarships for two Greenville High School students. These Scholarships will be awarded on May 23, 2026.
This is part of a growing wave of relief for Darke County as just days earlier, on April 23rd, Greenville Masonic Lodge #143 delivered another 734 pounds of food to the Fish Food Pantry. This brings our total contributions since November 8, 2025, to an astonishing 3,097 pounds of food donated — and climbing.
The Fish Food Pantry staff said it best back in December: “Wow — you guys are really bringing it in!”
That momentum hasn’t slowed. In fact, it’s accelerating.
Our next Food Drive is scheduled for May 16, 2026, with seven more planned throughout the year. Each one is another opportunity to strengthen families, support our neighbors, and live out the principles we are obligated to uphold.
This is Freemasonry in action, Freemasonry is built upon the pillars of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. These aren’t just words — they are marching orders.
