A Greenville man is in the Preble County Jail facing several felony drug related charges. A deputy conducting a routine business check around 2:40 Friday morning – led to the arrest of two subjects for theft-related charges.  On August 23, around 2:40 A.M., a deputy was conducting a routine business check at the former Preble Shawnee Elementary School in West Elkton when he discovered a vehicle behind the school. When he investigated, the deputy noticed that there was a man and a woman on the property. Upon interviewing the suspects, the man admitted that they were there to break into the building. Deputies located criminal tools in the vehicle, including crow bars, hack saws, bolt cutters, spot and flashlights. Deputies also found in the vehicle suspected cocaine and meth well as a loaded 9mm handgun.

Deputies arrested both subjects and housed them in the Preble County Jail. 39-old Courtney M. Thompson, of Dayton and 26-year-old Noah Edward Wolfe of Greenville are facing, Third Degree Felony charges of  Aggravated Possession of Drugs, and Possession of Heroin, a 5th Degree Felony  – along with  Breaking & Entering, a 5th Degree Felony.   Possessing Criminal Tools, a 5th Degree Felony.  Thompson has since bonded out of jail.
