Two Randolph County residents were injured in a single vehicle crash early Tuesday afternoon. Around 12:55pm yesterday, Darke County Deputies along with Greenville City Fire, Greenville Township Fire and Rescue responded to the 3500 Block of State Route 571 on the call of a single vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2012 Chevy Traverse driven by 73-year-old Devida Abel dof Winchester, Indiana was traveling westbound on State Route 571 when the vehicle traveled left of the centerline and off the left side of the roadway. Abel struck a utility pole causing lines and debris to fall from the pole, landing on a parked vehicle.
Abel and her front seat passenger were transported to Wayne Healthcare by Greenville Township Rescue with minor injuries.
