Arrest Made in Ongoing Child Seduction Investigation
Union City, IN – The Union City Police Department has arrested James “Jim” Robson, age 56, of Union City, Indiana, following an extensive investigation involving allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student.
Robson, a current teacher with the Ansonia Local School District and a former golf coach, was identified during the investigation as having engaged in sexual contact with a student-athlete on multiple occasions. The incidents span back to 2012.
Following the conclusion of the investigative process, Robson was taken into custody by the Union City Police Department and formally charged with three counts of Child Seduction. He is currently being held in the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail on a $15,000 cash bond.
This case was the result of a coordinated effort between the Union City Police Department and the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, whose cooperation was instrumental in bringing the matter forward.
No further information will be released at this time as the investigation remains active, and the case will proceed through the judicial system.
