Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a Friday night crash On April 18 at 10:25 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire & Rescue and CareFlight were dispatched to the 7800 block of New Harrison Bradford Road, Bradford, Ohio in reference to a single vehicle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2003 Toyota Corolla being operated by 28-year-old Jesse Clark of Bradford was traveling west on New Harrison Bradford. Clark failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road. Clark struck a tree which then fell onto the car – then was extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means and transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.
Alcohol is a suspected contributing factor. This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
