A Shelby County man was ejected from his vehicle following a rollover accident in Darke County over the weekend. At 10:07PM Saturday – Darke County Deputies, along with Versailles Police, Versailles Fire and Rescue, and Careflight – responded to the 11400 Block of Marshall Road in Versailles, after receiving an automated crash alert issued by Life360.
When emergency personnel arrived on the scene, a vehicle was located off the roadway on its side. Initial investigation revealed a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by 22-year-old Tevin Felver of Sidney, was traveling Southbound on Marshall Road when he failed to maintain control of the vehicle, crossing the centerline before traveling off the roadway to the left and striking a tree. After striking the tree, the vehicle overturned onto its side and Felver was ejected from the vehicle. Felver was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash investigation.
This crash remains under investigation with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
