A Darke County Woman was injured in a crash this (Monday) afternoon. At 2:35 pm Darke County Deputies along with Osgood Fire and Rescue, responded to the intersection of North Star-Ft. Loramie Road and Reed Road for a two-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Highlander driven by 46-year-old Melanie Ramsdial of Greenville was traveling eastbound on North Star-Ft. Loramie Road when she collided with a Ford Escape, driven by 23-year-old Caleb Heitkamp of Versailles, who was stopped at the southbound stop sign on Reed Road and pulled out into the intersection failing to yield the right of way.
Ramsdial was transported to Wayne HealthCare for minor injuries and Heitkamp was uninjured.
