One driver was injured, and another cited, following an accident late Saturday morning.  Just before Noon on November 15, Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia fire and Ansonia Rescue responded to the intersection of State Route 49 North and State Route 47 on the report of a crash with injuries. 

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Chevy Cruze driven by 28-year-old Finn Cool of Fort Wayne, Indiana was traveling South on State Route 49 North approaching the stop sign at the intersection and stopped at State Route 47.  Cool failed to yield to through traffic on State 47 traveled into the intersection, striking an East bound 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by 70-year-old Gregory Stmeyer of Union City, Indiana.  

Stmeyer was transported to Wayne Health Care by Ansonia Rescue for minor injuries and Cool was checked out at the scene and refused medical treatment. 

Cool was issued a citation for Right of way at through highway.
