The Darke County Chamber of Commerce and Darke County Economic Development are proud to
announce the fourth annual Impact STEM2D Conference for Women. This one-day event offers an
invaluable educational opportunity for young women in high schools throughout Darke County to
explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing, and Design
(STEM2D).
The conference is designed to inspire and engage participants through hands-on activities, personal
connections, and a robust career fair featuring local employers eager to connect with the future
workforce. “The Impact STEM2D Conference is a vital opportunity to inspire the next generation of
women leaders in our community. By connecting students with local employers and hands-on learning
experiences, we’re not just opening doors to exciting career paths—we’re building a stronger future for
Darke County,” said Rachel Neal, President and CEO of the Darke County Chamber of Commerce.”
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from February 3 to February 12, 2025.
“Join us to explore, innovate, and inspire! This conference is your chance to connect with like-minded
young women, discover your passions in STEM2D, and unlock the skills to shape a future where you lead
with confidence and creativity,” shared Olivia Schmitmeyer, Career Connections Coordinator with Darke
