SAFETY/SERVICE DIRECTOR RYAN DELK ANNOUNCED AT TUESDAY NIGHT’S CITY COUNCIL MEETING THAT THE CITY OF GREENVILLE HAS BEEN AWARDED AN OHIO BUILDS WATER INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT FROM THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT.  DELK SAYS THE GRANT IS WORTH OVER ONE-POINT- FOUR MILLION DOLLARS – AND WILL BE USED TO REPLACE THE MAIN TRANSMISSION LINE THAT WAS INSTALLED IN 1893.  THE PROJECT IS NOT LIKELY TO BEGIN UNTIL 2023.
